Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor who is famous for his role on the well-known television series Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. At the age of 18, he began to take an interest in acting. At his school, the University of Colorado at Boulder, he studied acting. His characters in television are gaining him lots of recognition. He has been able to easily play characters on both sides of the law to grab an audience's interest. In his first TV series where he played the character of a murderer. He then went on to take on the role of an NYPD Detective. For his work on the smaller screen, he's won many times for the highly coveted Emmy Awards. The most appealing feature of his face is said to be his piercing blue eyes. They are believed to be his trademark. They helped in portraying the rough and savage characters with a sense of humour. In 2006, he was featured on People's magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
